Swiss Chard Powder - 4.2oz Jar
Swiss chard is an edible member of the rhubarb family. Recent research has shown that chard leaves contain at least 13 antioxidants, including kaempferol. It’s a super source of Vitamin K, as well as Vitamin A, beta-carotene, copper and manganese. The varieties in our powder include Fordhook Giant and Rainbow Chard.
Chard, like kale, adds bright and grassy notes to some foods, though its flavor can be undetectable when folded into more strongly flavored foods. To use, sprinkle on salads, eggs, rice and quinoa, buttered popcorn, steamed or roasted vegetables, fish or chicken.
Add to smoothies, soups, stews, pasta, spaghetti sauce – really, anything you enjoy eating! Our favorite way to use Swiss Chard Powder is added, along with two or three other powders, to coconut-oil infused brown rice.
Ingredients: Organic Swiss chard. Nothing else.
