Obtaining the seeds directly from local farms following the fall harvest, Stony Brook aims to support local production, promoting environmental and economic health in the Finger Lakes region.
Seed that emerges from the expeller press after the oil is removed is milled into seed flours. These "flours" are high in protein and nutrients from the seed hulls.
CLEAN, WHOLE PROTEIN
Use seed protein powders just like you use any other protein powder. Add it to a smoothie or shake for breakfast or a pre- or post-workout protein boost. Sprinkle on oatmeal or fruit salad. You can also simply blend protein powder with your favorite milk.
